Information we process

When you register or purchase a membership, we process the full name, email address and contact telephone number you supply when creating an account, plus account identifiers, authentication details, membership status and learning progress. Phone numbers are provided as contact details and are not verified through SMS during registration. If you submit material to Academy features, we also process the content you choose to upload.

Payments and providers

Payments are handled by Stripe. K4K Academy does not need to store your full card number to verify your subscription. Our website and account features use providers including Vercel and Supabase. Optional AI features may send submitted prompts or content to the relevant AI service provider when you choose to use them.

Why we use this information

We use account and subscription information to provide access to purchased services, secure accounts, prevent misuse, respond to support requests and meet applicable legal obligations. We use the supplied name and contact telephone number to identify your account and respond to member support or account-related issues. We do not use the registration phone number to send marketing messages or SMS verification codes. We do not sell your contact details. Learning progress helps you resume lessons.

Cookies and local storage

Essential authentication cookies are used to keep members signed in. Browser storage may also be used for limited interface preferences. Third-party checkout and media providers may have their own privacy practices.

Retention and your rights

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and meet applicable obligations. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information. Contact us to make a request; some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons.
